School Counseling

Welcome to the J.P. Knapp Early College High School School Counseling Program!

Our mission is to promote growth and success for all students, helping them reach their full academic and career potential. We work to promote excellence through education, collaboration, and empowerment of our students, family, and community. 

The program is designed to provide individual, group, and classroom services to address the academic, career, and social-emotional development needs of all J.P. Knapp students. 

We are proud to meet and exceed the ethics and standards of the American School Counselors Association and the North Carolina School Counseling Association, ensuring the highest level of professional service. 

Our vision is for 100% of students to ENROLL, ENLIST, or EMPLOY upon graduation from J.P. Knapp Early College High School.
